EXCLUSIVE SAFARI FROM UDAIPUR TO BUNDI

Start of the safari after 1 or 2 nights in PCI. During this days our jeep will take you for  sightseeing in Udaipur and for a dinner in the Lake Palace, Royal Boat or Trident where ever desired by you and where ever available.

1. Day  Udaipur -Chittor

Drive to Fort Chittor 115 km from Udaipur. The city in fact represents the quintessence of Rajput valour. Sightseeing in the Fort.

2. Day Chittor – Bassi

Drive 20 km to Bassi, the famous castle of Mewar Chundawat Sisodia dynasty founded in 16th century. Meet Rawat Kesri Singh, the present head of Bassi, for tea or dinner at the palace. Drive to the hunting lodge called Bokdiya-ki-Audhi, 5 km away, located on a penensula type of ridge overlooking the Orai and Bassi Dams on one side and the wild life sanctuary on the other.

3.+4.Day Two nights staying in tented accommodation, riding in the wild life sanctuary.

5. Day Menal – Bijolia ancient castle, visit the castle and meet the present owner. Overnight stay in the royal camp.

6. Day Bijolia – Bhimlet Ride to Bhimlet, named after Bhim, the Pandawa dynasty of epic period. Visit centuries old caves and temples, a region of tiger habitant. Overnight stay in the camp.

7. Day Bhimlet – Bundi Ride to Bundi, which is famous for forts and arts. 2 nights stay in the campside.

Meeting the nobles on the way and evening entertainment, where ever it is available is offered by us on complementary basis.

The guests will stay in our comfortable royal tents with cot, bedrolls, chair, table and candlelight. The camp has also a shower (hot/cold water) and a toilet.

If you wish to stay in a hotel or castles on this trail we will arrange the room reservation if available. The extra charge of the room will have to be payed directly in the hotel and also the full charge of the safari-night.

SHORT RIDES AND DAY SAFARIS

Pratap Country Inn also offers a number of horse riding possibilities ranging from riding lessons up to day rides.

Enjoy the beautiful surroundings of Udaipur in the saddle of a noble Marwari horse. Choose your mount and go riding through tribal villages and lovely countryside. An experienced English-speaking guide will accompany you and show you the “real” India, in the villages.

We offer:

  • 2-2 ½ hours riding with a guide and 4-6 hours riding with a guide (snacks and lunch included)

  • Full day ride with a guide (breakfast, lunch and dinner included) and Overnight Safaris

             (on advance notice only)

For genuine horse-lovers we offer the chance of taking riding lessons or making riding holidays in Pratap Country Inn with lessons in the morning and free riding in the evening.

The learner will be taught the basic skills of handling, grooming and riding a horse.
